Posting Index – Broker Guide

Use Posting Index to compare truck and load activity across Canadian and cross-border markets. Review truck-to-load ratios, regional capacity, and equipment trends before quoting or repositioning equipment.

Open Posting Index

Select Posting Index from the main navigation to review available trucks and posted loads across Canadian and cross-border markets.

Understand the Dashboard

The dashboard displays truck postings, load postings, and the resulting truck-to-load ratio for the searched route. Select 1D, 7D, 1M, or 1Y to change the timeframe, and use Switch View to change between chart and table formats.

Review Vehicle and Load Size

Under Vehicle Size, compare capacity for Full Truckload (TL), Less-than-Truckload (LTL), and carriers accepting both. The section also displays load-size activity from other brokers.

Select the table icon to view the same information as exact values.

Compare Inbound and Outbound Activity

Review the lower chart to compare inbound and outbound truck and load activity over the selected timeframe.

Review Postings by Geography

Select Postings by Geography to compare truck and load activity across different countries and regions.

Select Canada, then group the results by Market Area, Province, or Region.

Select United States, then group the results by Market Area, State, or Region.

Use the Heatmap

Select Heatmap to view truck-to-load ratios across provinces and states. Adjust the location, equipment type, and timeframe using the controls above the map.

Use the colour legend to interpret the ratio shown for each area. Lower ratios indicate tighter truck capacity, while higher ratios indicate more available trucks relative to posted loads.

🟦 Blue: Fewer trucks than loads

🟥 Red: More balanced truck and load activity

🟧 Orange: More trucks relative to loads

🟩 Green: Higher truck availability

Select a province or state to view its truck count, load count, and truck-to-load ratio.

Review Vehicle Types

Select Vehicle Types to compare load postings, truck postings, and truck-to-load ratios by equipment type.
